Apple and Intel would collaborate to develop a smartwatch

2012 was the year when most smartwatch projects were submitted for financing to smartphone users, and Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), si Intel they seem to be interested in this trend. Although we are talking about a mere rumour, two publications that have knowledge inside the chain of Apple partners, claim that Intel and the company from Cupertino would jointly develop a SmartWatch able to connect to iPhones/iPods and iPad tablets via Bluetooth.

The smart watch could reach the market in the first part of next year and would have a 1.5 inch OLED screen treated with ITO and manufactured by a company in Taiwan. Practically, a watch of this kind could be connected to terminals and apart from displaying the time/date, it could tell us when we have unread messages/emails/notifications, it could tell us when someone calls us and it calls us but it could allow us to reject calls, and the possibilities are only limited to the imagination of the engineers in Cupertino.

Considering the success of products of this kind, a smartwatch produced by Apple would sell extremely well if it were available at the right price and would have new functions compared to the others available on the market.
