CES 2013: Hyundai is the 10th car manufacturer to integrate Siri Eyes Free

La CES 2013, the famous car manufacturer, Hyundai, announced system integration Siri Eyes Free in their own vehicles starting this year. In the fall of last year, Apple announced a series of 9 manufacturers that are going to implement the system in their own cars, a few have already done it, and now it's the turn of those from Hyundai. Using this system, iPhone owners will be able to use a dedicated button and the car's infotainment system to control the Siri assistant, without ever looking at the terminal iPhone.

Hyundai will integrate Siri, the intelligent assistant that helps drivers get things done just by asking, and the much-anticipated Eyes Free mode into its vehicles. Through the vehicle's infotainment system, drivers with a compatible iPhone* running iOS 6 can direct Siri to perform a number of tasks while they safely keep their eyes on the road and their hands on the wheel. To further minimize distraction, Siri takes hands-free functionality even further with an Eyes Free mode which enables drivers to interact with their iPhone using nothing more than their voice while keeping the device's screen from lighting up.

Apple presented Siri Eyes Free as a system that every car must have, car manufacturers have taken note of what Apple said and it seems that they are in a hurry to offer their customers compatibility with the most popular personal assistant on the planet.
