Apple would generate a profit of 1 billion dollars annually by setting Google Search as Safari's default search engine

Although the relations between Google si Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), are tense, the two companies have several signed agreements, one of them BRINGING profit of about 1 billion dollars annually for those in Cupertino. Money is received based on positioning Google Search as Safari's default search engine, this agreement gives Google a big advantage over its direct competitors, because searches made in Safari are directed to Google, if users do not change their browser settings.

A good part of Google's profit generated by mobile terminals comes from iDevices, and the agreement is an extremely important one for both companies. Apple gives users what they need, Google gets enormous traffic through its search engine and of course it generates a lot of money from the advertisements published on its website. This is not the first time we hear that Apple would earn a lot of money from Google and it certainly won't be the last.
