Apple is developing a virtual keyboard with adjustable buttons

Directly from the laboratories where Apple engineers work, I have today for you a request for the registration of a patent that could bring adjustable virtual keyboards to iOS. Apple thinks that users would be happy if certain buttons of the virtual keyboard were bigger than the others, so it thought of a system that automatically adjusts the size of the buttons according to the most used keys. iOS would automatically log our button presses, and the keys that are most often selected would be automatically enlarged, just like in the image above.

The idea from Apple is not new, systems of this kind have been implemented in the past in various forms in various operating systems, but its implementation in iOS would be beneficial. Of course, the system should allow us to change the size of the keys according to our preferences, or to completely disable its entire functionality, otherwise we might find that we don't need the changes it implements.
