American analysts expect Apple to announce mediocre sales of iPad tablets in Q2 2013

The other day we presented the estimates of American analysts regarding the number of terminals iPhone sold by Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), in Q2 2013(Q3 for those from Cupertino), and now it's the turn of the tablets iPad. Average of estimates of American professional analysts is 17.78 million units sold in Q2 2013, while the average of freelance analysts is 18.57 million units. Comparing it with Q3 2013, the difference is very small, almost 10% in the case of indie analysts, and this could indicate a stagnation in terms of sales of iPad tablets as well.

Looking at all the estimates separately, you can see that a maximum of 22 million units sold in Q3 2013 is the most optimistic estimate, while some believe that Apple barely sold 14 million tablets. The truth is somewhere in the middle and Apple will probably announce that it has sold a little over 17 million tablets in the last 3 months, this makes it clear that to return to serious growth the company needs something new.
