The task switcher in iOS 7 allows us to enter text in applications that are not open on the first screen

A few weeks ago I told you that you can record pictures with your iDevices even if the Camera application is not open on the main screen, the task switcher helping us to do this. Now I will tell you that the same procedure can also be used for to introduce text in applications, if you have an external keyboard connected to your iDevice. Using this method you can keep an application open in the background while you write text in it, and in the task switcher you can view information available in another application.

The idea of the whole procedure is that the application you are writing in should not be closed, but the task switcher should be accessed during use, and no other application should be selected in the meantime from the task switcher. Even if apple does not give us the possibility to divide the iDevices screen into two parts to view more content, the idea of being able to use an external keyboard to write texts in applications while navigating through the task switcher to view other information it is interesting.

Of course, this whole procedure can only be done in iOS 7, this version of iOS being the only one that has the new task switcher available.
