I promised you an update for a very long time the iDevice.ro application and today a completely new version of the application is available in App Store. The new application is published separately from the old one, so you will not see any update in the application App Store for it and you will have to download it again from the Apple store. The new application is developed especially for iOS 7 and does not run on old versions of the operating system, it also uses a new push notification system at the same time, so you will have to install it if you want to receive push notifications in the future, the system used in the old application will be deactivated in the following weeks.
The new version of the application iDevice.ro It has:
- special design for iOS 7;
- compatibility with the 64-bit iPhone 5S chip;
- the Background App Refresh system that automatically updates articles in the background;
- the option to save photos from articles in iDevices;
- a new push notification system;
- other options available in the near future.
At the moment, the new Push notification system of the new application is inactive, so I recommend you to keep the old version, if you still have it, in order to continue receiving notifications, this problem will be solved in the following days. The application is not currently available in a version compatible with iPad tablets, but you can install and use it on your tablets in 2X mode. UPDATED: At the moment, the problem of displaying all comments for articles has been solved.
In the next update we will solve the problem of automatically closing the audio feed when the application is opened and we will implement the landscape module. In the case of crashes, we are still waiting for the crash reports that come from your iDevices to iTunes Connect to see exactly where the problems are.
