This is what the replacements for the current smartwatches look like (Video)

At the moment, smartwatches are in the center of attention, many manufacturers rushing to bring to the market these devices that interconnect with smartphones to provide a varied range of information. In the US, any devices of this kind that can be worn by users and interconnect with mobile terminals are called wearables, but a graphic designer thought to show us their evolution in the future, producing a concept for predictables.

The 'Predictables' project aims to bring this forecasting to a personal level. It largely consists of two parts. The first part constitutes an app that scours for the digital data an individual and his social circle produces. This app then connects the dots to make sensible patterns and intelligently proposes future outcomes. The second part consists of systems that interface with the individual. The interaction with the individual is made possible using intuitive interfaces projected on a variety of surfaces using a smart watch or a desktop pico projector.

As you can already see from the video clip above, we are talking about devices that project an interface on our skin and allow us to interact with it to control the operating system, this being the future of current smartwatches. Everything is based on a system that can predict our movements and can interpret the gestures made by us at any moment, but even if the idea itself is extremely interesting, it remains to be seen how long it will take until such a system reaches the market in - such a small device.
