Yesterday I told you that RCS-RDS concluded a contract with Vodafone Romania to provide national roaming customers Digi Mobil, and today we learn some additional details about the agreement. Digi Mobil will have covering for 90% of the country by connecting to the mobile phone network of those from Vodafone, but the customers RCS-RDS they will only have the opportunity to perform voice calls, internet access being restricted for the network Digi Mobil. The agreement between the two mobile operators is concluded for a period of 2 years, during which the RCS-RDS mobile network will be expanded.
To activate the service of mobile roaming for Digi Mobil you will have to access your own account DigiCare, to enter the section Services, then in the submenu Services administration, and finally in the category Service installation addresses you should find the option. The worst part is that you will have to manually connect to the mobile network Vodafone, this being displayed under the names Digi.MobilR 2G si Digi.MobilR 3G in the operator selection menu present in our terminals.
The bigger problem is that if you want to return to the mobile network RCS-RDS you will have to manually select the operator from the same network change menu, so nothing will be done automatically. Additional details should be announced tomorrow in a Vodafone and RCS - RDS press conference.
