UK man left with permanent scar after sleeping with iPhone in hand (NSFW)

If you are used to falling asleep with your iPhone under your hand, then it would be good to force yourself to place the terminal away from your body during the night, otherwise you risk being injured during your sleep. In the images of this article you can see the wound suffered by a young man from Great Britain who fell asleep with a "hot" iPhone under the hand, the terminal of those from Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), creating a burn that became infected and created a hole in the hand that allows the forearm muscles to be seen.

A teenager was left with a two inch hole burned into his arm – after he fell asleep lying on his iPhone. After the 18-year-old had woken up the next morning, his mother Tammie, 43, pointed out that he had a large blister on his arm. Doctors told the factory night worker to take antibiotics after the wound became infected – but the teenager had to go to hospital after the sore turned black, leaving him in excruciating pain.

The 18-year-old claims that the terminal was very hot before he fell asleep and probably because of the heat emanating during the night, he chose the burn that became infected. Being treated by the doctors, they explained to him that he will be left with a permanent scar on his hand following this incident, and if you look at the pictures you will understand exactly why.

The blister then burst and left him with a gaping hole down to his muscle. Now he has been told he will be scarred for life. 'Now every time I move my arm it's like ripping open. At one point I could see the muscle moving.'

Although iPhones, just like any other mobile terminals, heat up excessively in case of intense use, this is the first time that such a wound is caused by an Apple terminal. Although we are talking about an extreme case, it is advisable not to place your devices under pillows, in pockets or under your body during the night.
