Siri is the personal assistant for iOS launched by Apple in October 2011 and updated over the years to offer improved functionality and support for multiple languages around the world. Unfortunately, Romanian is not among the languages supported by the personal assistant, so Crab in Romanian it is limited to only one functionality, the one that concerns writing after dictation, there the personal assistant is doing as well as possible.
In an article published very shortly after the launch iOS 8 beta 1 we talked to you in detail about what the personal assistant Siri can do in Romanian and we are talking about writing any kind of texts based on the dictation made by us in Romanian. In the image above you can see what the menu looks like through which we can dictate texts in Romanian for Siri, everything being accessible through the virtual keyboard that is available in any menu of the operating system.
Siri in Romanian - what can it do?
Activating the function of writing after dictation in Romanian using Siri is done from Settings>General>Keyboard> Enable Dictation, the personal assistant Siri not being automatically activated to be able to use the service. During the use of the writing system after dictation in Romanian, our words will be transmitted to the Apple servers for analysis and resending to Siri in order to enter the texts in the text fields, so everything will be seen by the Apple company.
System activation is done directly from the iOS keyboard using the button represented by a microphone that is positioned to the left of the button for entering the space between words written in applications. After activation you will see an oscillator with a gray background, displaying an animation depending on what you say and the intensity with which you say it, the tests being entered in real time in the writing fields as you say them and Siri receives the words directly from Apple.
Unfortunately, Siri in Romanian does not mean controlling functions of the operating system using the assistant directly, but maybe we will have something like that in the future.
