Buying Beats during the past year, the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), he also chose an audio streaming service that had approximately 250.000 subscribers on the platforms iOS si Android. Having an iTunes Radio with tens of millions of listeners, the Apple company thought that a combination of the two services would be ideal, so now it is developing a new Beats service that will also be available on the basis of a subscription. This audio streaming service will be integrated in iTunes for Mac, in the Music application for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, but it will also be available on the Android platform or on Apple TV.

Based mostly on infrastructure iCloud, the new streaming service will have in the center is the users' music library, offering recommendations based on it, but users will also have the opportunity to search for music in the iTunes Store to stream at any time. Users will be able to listen to any songs they want, they will be able to add songs from albums to their personal collection, all songs will be stored in iCloud, in iDevices or in users' computers. Current users of Beats Music will be able to switch from their own accounts to the new system through a data transfer, and for those who wish there will also be options to share information about the songs listened to on social networks.

Based on the information that has appeared so far, the new streaming service will have a monthly price of $8, $2 cheaper than the current Beats Music subscription, but similar to what Spotify, Rdio or Google Play Music offers. It is not yet known when the new service will be launched or if it will be usable in Romania, but as soon as additional information is available, I will let you know.
