Layout is a new application launched this evening in the App Store by the company Instagram, it being dedicated especially to those who like to generate collages with pictures recorded using their own mobile terminals, and from the images above you will understand exactly what this means. Basically, the Layout application takes the images from the iOS photo roll and allows us to paste them to create collages that present multiple events from our lives in the form of a single photo, these collages can be quickly shared wherever we want.
Layout recommends predefined types for our collages, but of course we can create whatever we want and we can edit the way our pictures are displayed in the collages, so we can present important moments from our lives in a very interesting way. Separately, the application contains a function called photo booth, which records a quick sequence of photos that it pastes in a photo collage directly in our terminals, so that we will no longer have to automatically select the photos that we want to include in a quick shareable collage.
When you open Layout, we automatically show you previews of custom layouts as you choose photos from your camera roll. To make it easier to find the photos you want, we've also added a Faces option that shows you all the photos in your camera roll that feature people.
