VLC is coming to Apple Watch

VLC Apple WatchVLC will arrive on the Apple Watch, according to the VideoLan company, which has prepared a beta version of the application for iPhone and iPad that contains support for the new smart watch from Cupertino. In the attached image you have the beta version sent to one of the testers chosen by VideoLan and you notice that the list of changes begins with the mention of the launch of the dedicated Apple Watch application, which allows controlling a variety of functions directly from the watch.

Through VLC for Apple Watch, the playback options of the video clips can be controlled, information about the video clips can be viewed, the multimedia library can be viewed, and that's about it for now. Separately, the new version of the VLC application will allow you to view the mini-player while browsing the multimedia library, and will solve a multitude of other performance problems.

Among them are: sudden closing when trying to play movies from a folder on the iPad, closing the application when we exit it or properly protecting the library with a security code. It is not yet known when the new version of VLC will be released in the App Store, but the VLC for iOS application is available for DOWNLOAD FREE, in universal format, from the App Store.
