Windows 10 runs better than OS X on MacBook Pro Retina

Windows 10 runs better on Windows 10 than on OS XWindows 10 works better than OS X on Retina MacBook Pro, or at least that's what one of the few people who managed to install the new version of the Windows operating system through BootCamp tells us. The procedure is very complicated because not all drivers required for Windows 10 are installed through the BootCamp system, but with a little patience anything is possible, and the results could turn out to be surprising for many users.

The one who managed to install Windows 10 on the MacBook Pro Retina claims that the performance in daily use is much better than that of OS X Yosemite, despite the fact that the installation was not done with full driver support. The animations run at 60 frames per second in the Windows 10 interface, and everything seems to go better than on the Apple Mac, where many people complained about lag in OS X Yosemite.

Here's the real kicker: it's fast. It's smooth. It renders at 60FPS unless you have a lot going on. It's unequivocally better than performance on OS X, further leading me to believe that Apple really needs to overhaul how animations are done. Even when I turn Transparency off in OS X, Mission Control isn't completely smooth. Here, even after some Aero Glass transparency has been added in, everything is smooth. It's remarkable, and it makes me believe in the 12-inch MacBook more than ever before.

Although not all applications working properly at the high resolution of MacBook Pro Retina, if the final experience offered by the computer is much better than that of OS X Yosemite, then the user comes out fully victorious regardless of the situation. Considering that a lot of people have complained about the performance problems that OS X Yosemite has, probably in OS X 10.11 Apple will solve some of them, otherwise it risks attracting further negative attention to itself.
