Android M comes with its own Touch ID

Google's new mobile operating system, Android M, will include native fingerprint authentication. The new functionality will allow users to log in to all of the supported applications on their Android devices without entering a password. Google is expected to announce the feature next week during a keynote at Google I/O, the search giant's annual developer conference, in San Francisco.

The good part for all users of the Android platform is that Android M with Touch ID will bring biometric authentication to many more applications and smartphones or tablets in the coming years. Those from Google have not confirmed the information at the moment, but it is quite clear that this change will be offered by the company as soon as Android M is publicly available.
