Apple Music - constant growth estimated by analysts

Apple Music FreeApple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), avoid giving figures regarding the number of paying subscribers Apple Music, but American analysts estimate that by the end of this year there will be 8 million people who pay a subscription to the audio streaming service developed by the company from Cupertino.

Apple announced in October that it has 6.5 million paying subscriptions in Apple Music, but since then it has avoided providing any more details, so an increase to 8 million paying subscriptions is possible, but it remains to be seen if it will happen.

If for this year it is estimated that Apple Music will reach 8 million payers, for 2016 it is estimated that Apple Music will have 20 million subscription payers, more than double compared to this year, but it is unlikely that this figure to be reached.

Although Apple Music is available to a very large number of people, few are actually willing to pay between 5 euros and 10 euros for the subscriptions required by the Apple company, hence the small number of subscribers after the initial launch.

The wildcards in the equation are whether Apple can do a better job of pushing users from iTunes Radio to Apple Music and what happens when Spotify restores its subscriber number to reflect the impact of $1 a month 3 month trials.

If Apple will still manage to gather 20 million subscribers by the end of 2016, then it will be positioned right behind those from Spotify, they have a lot of subscription payers.
