iPhone Edge could be launched by Apple, here are the details

iPhone edge is going to turn from a simple concept into a reality thanks to technology AMOLED, the Apple company being able to bring this device to the market in 2017 or 2018 when those from Cupertino will make the decision to switch to OLED technology for their own smartphones.

Yesterday I told you that Apple would at least intend to test one iPhone with 5.8 inch AMOLED screen, its Asian partners receiving orders to send components to test prototypes that have screens of this size.

The idea behind the launch theory iPhone edge is based on the fact that this 5.8-inch AMOLED screen will be similar to that of the Galaxy Edge, that is, it will be curved around the side edges in a much larger proportion than in the current case.

The theory was launched by Raymon Soneira, one of the biggest experts in screens for mobile terminals, stating that such a large screen for the iPhone cannot have any other functionality than one similar to the one offered by the Galaxy Edge.

If the idea seems hard to believe now, well, the Apple company has described it in multiple patents over the years, so its transformation into reality doesn't seem so impossible, but it all depends on how advanced the technology is for implementation.

If Apple will release a iPhone edge, then the device won't hit the market until the hardware and software can work very well together, so it's hard to say whether 2017 or 2018 is an easy target to meet.

What seems quite certain is the fact that if iPhone edge would be launched on the market, then it will be sold separately from the current series of iPhones to be differentiated by those from Cupertino.
