Apple shocks Europeans with iPhone SE prices

The Apple company announced that the price of the iPhone SE in the USA will be 399 dollars for the 16 GB version and $499 for the 64 GB version, users being able to buy the terminals at full price or in installments, but without subsidized subscriptions.

Although in the USA the price iPhone SE is very good, in Europe the company Apple chose to make fun of customers, so that the new terminal it costs no less than 489 euros in Germany, Spain or France, while in Italy the starting price is 509 euros.

If we do a euro-dollar conversion, the result is that in Europe the iPhone SE price is 549 dollars, 150 dollars higher than in the USA, at first glance. In the US Apple Store, Apple displays prices without VAT, something that does not happen in Europe.

VAT in the USA is 9%, in most states, such that iPhone SE ends up costing a maximum of 435 dollars in the US, 114 dollars cheaper than the cheapest terminal in Europe, the difference being even greater if we look at the 64 GB model.

Why does Apple sell iPhone SE in Europe at a price 25% higher than in the USA? Tim Cook should answer this question because everything seems to be a joke to the Europeans who are taken for fools because of Apple's greed.
