Here's how much the FBI pays to unlock an iPhone without Apple's help

The other day I told you that an Israeli company called Cellebrite helps the FBI unlock an iPhone used by a terrorist in an armed attack in the USA, and this is because Apple refuses to help it in any way claiming that it does not have the necessary technology to do it.

Considering that we are talking about a federal government agency, some of its contracts are disclosed to the public, and the one with Cellebrite is part of this category, information published by the FBI confirming the collaboration, but also the fact that its price is 15.300 dollars.

You can see in the image below the collaboration data between the FBI and Cellebrite, the sum of 15.300 dollars guaranteeing the federal agents that they will receive access to the data from the terrorist's iPhone terminal, plus possible access to his accounts from the social networks in which he was active .

Yesterday I told you that the unlocking method used by Cellebrite is called NAND mirroring, it has been used in the past for other similar unlocks, and so the FBI will probably give up asking Apple to help them with unlocks future
