Macid is an application available since the beginning of this year in the App Store, it being designed with the idea of allowing iPhone owners to unlock their Macs using the Touch ID system implemented in Apple smartphones. In the image above you have the functionality of the application, it unlocks a Mac by interconnecting with it via Bluetooth and communicating with an application installed in that Mac, replacing a password with a fingerprint reading.
According to the developers, Macid it can work with multiple Macs, allows you to use an iPhone security code to unlock your Mac, displays interactive unlock notifications, allows you to lock a Mac remotely, and more.
