The production of the iPhone SE costs only 160 dollars

For producing iPhone SE, the Apple company spends 160 dollars on components and their assembly, those from Cupertino having much lower costs than those estimated last week when analysts claimed that in reality Apple pays $260 to produce the new terminal.

The production price is estimated for the 16 GB version of the iPhone SE, and it comes after the disassembly of the new smartphone with a 4-inch screen, so it should be as accurate as possible compared to what was offered to us last week by analysts.

If iPhone SE 64 GB production cost amounts to 170 dollars, so by 10 dollars more than in the case of the iPhone SE 16 GB, this despite the fact that the Apple company asks for 100 dollars more for these two models in its stores and those of its partners.

Of all the existing components in iPhone SE, analysts only estimated the cost of the Qualcomm chips at $15 and that of the A9 chip at $22, but the screen should be the most expensive of all, with a production cost of over $30 at the suppliers the company.

The potential profit margin on the 16-gig phone is lower than it is on the 64-gig version. Apple is selling the phone with the higher storage for $100 more but only about $10 in additional cost.

Practically, for the iPhone SE 16 GB, the company Apple remains with 239 dollars after the sale, the figure increasing to 339 dollars, but here we are only talking about the prices in the USA because in other areas of the globe Apple earns much more from each sale of the iPhone SE.
