Apple has made record investments in research and development

In Q1 2016 the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), registered the highest number of investments in research and development, those from Cupertino allocating no less than 2.51 billion dollars for this purpose, with 600 million dollars more than in Q1 2015.

The increase is 31% compared to the same period last year and demonstrates the fact that Apple is increasingly serious in its intentions to bring new products to the market, the autonomous and intelligent car project, plus iPhone 7 and other new products generating this growth.

Separately from these, Tim Cook also announced that Apple bought 15 new companies in the last year, but it is not known how many of them were bought in Q1 2016, but the acquisition costs were reported in this figure regarding research and development expenses .

Apart from research and development, the Apple company allocated 8.4 billion dollars for expenses regarding the buildings and land that it owns or that it has acquired, the figure being in a substantial increase compared to the 1.4 billion dollars spent in Q3 2015.

As Apple collected more and more money from the sale of its own products, those from Cupertino also increased their research and development expenses, or investment in alternative energy sources, these expenses will seriously increase in the future.
