Apple is expanding the iPhone installment sales program

Apple has expanded today its program for the installment sale of iPhone terminals, so that all customers in Italy, Spain and France can purchase their smartphones directly from the Apple Store and pay 12 or 24 equal installments for the terminal.

With an interest rate of 7% applied to the contract for the sale of the iPhone in installments, customers can pay between 17 euros and 35 euros per month for an iPhone 6S or iPhone 6S Plus, but this only if they exchange an old model of The iPhone that Apple takes over at a price of nothing.

According to the Apple website, any customer who leaves an iPhone 5S with the company and buys an iPhone SE instead, will pay 17 euros per month for 24 months and will reach a total cost of 425 euros per device, even though it has the standard price of 509 euros in the country.

As part of its buy back program combined with the installment sale of the iPhone, the Apple company evaluates old smartphones at the following prices:

  • iPhone 4s – €75;
  • iPhone 5 and 5c – €95;
  • iPhone 5s – €128;
  • iPhone 6 – €260;
  • iPhone 6 Plus – €290.

The prices are not very different from those of the free market, but with a little luck, a user can get a slightly better price on the smartphone that he should leave with Apple under this program.

Apple's iPhone installment sales program is only available in the Apple Store, so it is unlikely that we will see it in Romania too soon, even though in our country there are stores that I sell iPhone and iPad in installments.
