Snapchat has more users than Twitter

Snapchat, one of the most popular applications among young Americans, managed to pass Twitter in terms of the number of monthly users, so that now 150 million people use Snapchat monthly, while Twitter has only 140 million uses.

Although neither of the two companies provides public figures regarding the number to be used, sources inside both companies have provided this information and they are surprising considering the ambitions of those from Twitter to compete much more effectively with Facebook.

Practically at the moment, Twitter has less than 10% of the total users of the Facebook social network, so practically it can no longer be called a competitor, and those from Snapchat prove once again that they are able to attract the attention of young people from all over the world.

In February of this year, Twitter had 320 million monthly active users, so we are talking about a drop of over 50% in the active user base, something that no one expected in such a short period of time.

Snapchat Inc. has 150 million people using the service each day, said people familiar with the matter. Twitter, which was founded in 2006, has less than 140 million users interacting with the service daily, according to an average of analysts' estimates.

In contrast, Snapchat managed to increase the number of monthly active users from 110 million to 150 million, so we are talking about an increase of approximately 40%, the change will help the company to attract more investments.
