How the ISIS network is spied on with smartphone apps

The terrorist network ISIS is spied on through fake Android apps released for its followers.

ISIS is the most feared terrorist network of the moment, it uses smartphone applications to spread its propaganda among young people, but it seems that these are not quite as safe as those who support ISIS would like.

According to an American publication, among the propaganda applications of ISIS various applications that are full of malware have also infiltrated, being created by unknown entities, most likely government spy agencies, and having the role of spying on users.

These applications are distributed through the communication channels that militants normally use ISIS and are downloaded because their distribution sources provided by the terrorist network are not always online to allow the download of applications.

Of course, we are talking about applications for the Android platform that are used by ISIS militants, but which provide the spy agencies with very important information regarding the terrorists' plans and even the location of some of its militants.

Recently, a fake copy of al-Bayan broadcast, 'Amaq, and others were circulated. The publishing individual claimed that they are in several languages and it appeared that it aims for breaching, so we advise all supporters of the State of the Caliphate to count on the official channels while uploading these applications and verify the digital fingerprint for the application before starting it.

Through actions of this kind, government agencies manage to block some attempts of ISIS to spread its propaganda throughout the world, but to prevent bloody terrorist attacks, the digital war waged by ISIS being as difficult as the one in the real world.
