Android Nougat is the name that Google has chosen for the future version of the operating system for smartphones and tablets, the announcement regarding its choice being made this evening, after a long period of deliberation and analysis of some proposed names even by regular users.
Although many thought that Nutella could be the name chosen by the Google company, considering that in the past it collaborated with KitKat for a launch, in the end Android Nougat will be the name of the version launched this year by the American company, it being quite unusual, just like the others.
Android Nougat, or Android Nuga, currently does not have a definite release date, the Google company only making the announcement regarding the choice of the name, without announcing when it will offer smartphone and tablet manufacturers the final version of the operating system in in order to release updates for its own products.
Android Nougat will fight with iOS 10 from the fall of this year, and its launch could take place in a period close to that chosen by the Apple company, Google organizing its presentation conference a few weeks before those in Cupertino, and the launch could be programmed the same way.
