The Instagram application zooms and takes better pictures

The Instagram application was updated this evening by the company with the same name, two new important functions being implemented for users around the world. The first of them is a zoom function that can be used while recording video clips by sliding your finger up on the screen, so you won't see pictures from the network any closer.

The second important function will allow us to record much better pictures and video clips in low light conditions, the change being auspicious. The Instagram application has a special button in the photo and video recording interface that, when pressed, will activate a software module that will digitally illuminate everything that is recorded.

Finally, those from Instagram allow the quick change between the front camera and the main one by simply double-tapping the screen.

  • Zoom with one hand as you're recording a video. Slide your finger up while holding the video record button.
  • Switch camera mode while recording a video. Double tap to flip between the front and back camera.
  • Capture better photos and videos in the dark. A low-light button will appear when the camera detects darkness.
  • Lots of bug fixes and improvements to make stories even better (and faster).

The Instagram application is available for free download from the AppStore.

"Starting today, you can pinch to zoom on photos and videos in feed, on profiles and on Explore. Dive into an adorable puppy's smile or into every detail of your friend's new shirt. Over the past six months, you've seen many exciting changes come to Instagram, from a new icon to longer videos and even a new way to share everyday moments with Instagram Stories. And as things change, we're still focused on improving the core parts of Instagram. Zoom is available today for Instagram on iOS. Zoom will be available on Android in the coming weeks."
