Ever since the period in which iOS 10 was available in beta, there were a lot of users who complained about the Camera app and how it works. It all starts with the difficult opening of the application and waiting for a few seconds until it starts to display the images captured by the camera, before allowing us to use it.
Apart from the Camera app crashing for a few seconds upon opening, it sometimes has problems and freezes during normal use. In some cases these blockages last a few seconds, in other cases the application must be closed and then reopened to be able to record pictures or videos through it.
In other situations, the application refuses to display the images captured by the camera and requires restarting from the very beginning, in other cases the blockages last even several tens of seconds. The problems date back to June of this year, so they are by no means new, and unfortunately they persist in iOS 10, iOS 10.1 not having any solution for them.
iOS 10 – problems opening and using the Camera application
I encountered these problems on iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6S, but I also saw users with iPhone 7, iPhone 6, iPhone 5S, and many other models, which complain about them. The problems are not limited to a specific terminal model or another, so we are not talking about something that only affects a part of Apple products.
Unfortunately, many iPhone models have problems with the Camera application in iOS 10, so the operating system must be blamed, not the devices themselves. In this idea, even if you bought an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus and you have these problems, they are related to the system and not to the terminals themselves, so you don't have to accuse them of anything.
Considering that iOS 10.1 did not solve these problems and is the newest version of iOS tested by Apple, it is hard to believe that they will be solved too soon. It is embarrassing for Apple to launch smartphones with new and such good cameras, in the case of the iPhone 7 Plus, but they cannot be used because of a bad application.
