Google Pixel and Pixel XL - specifications, price, images, release

Google Pixel and Pixel XL were officially presented, here are the specifications, the price, the first images and when they will be officially launched.

Google Pixel and Pixel XL were presented just a few minutes ago by the Google company in an event that is still ongoing. We are talking about two new smartphones that have screens of 5 inches and 5.5 inches, respectively, they are manufactured by HTC, so Google only made the design and some internal specifications.

Google Pixel and Pixel XL replace the Nexus series of smartphones created by Google, but they will not be available at the same prices as those devices. Those from Google believe that the Google Pixel and Pixel XL deserve to compete with the iPhone, so they have the same selling prices as the new Apple products.

Google Pixel

The Google Pixel is the model with a 5-inch screen of the new smartphone, the Google company thinking of it as a perfect competitor for the iPhone 7 at the moment. The technical specifications of Google Pixel are as follows:

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chip with quad-core processor clocked at 2.15 GHz;

The new Google Pixel has a case partially made of glass, its upper part being covered with this material, the rest being covered with aluminum. Google Pixel is the first smartphone that has integrated the new Google Assistant, the platform being announced by Google in the spring of this year. Google Assistant is Google's Siri, which is capable of having conversations with users, performing a variety of commands in terminals, or remembering many details about users.
