Company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), is organizing a conference tomorrow evening to present three new MacBook models, but separately from them it will also present a new application. We are talking about a new application for Apple TV through which those from Cupertino will offer users the opportunity to watch personalized TV shows recommended by Apple employees.
The name of the new application has not yet been revealed, but it will make recommendations based on existing media subscriptions in the iTunes Store and the searches we make. Basically, Apple analyzes our activity in its store and makes personalized recommendations for TV shows, but that's only if you use Apple TV 4 with an iTunes Store that has movies and TV series.
Inside Apple, this new application is called Watch List, but the official name will be different after tomorrow's presentation. Rumors regarding the development of this application started a few months ago, and its development process has come to an end at the point where it is ready to be officially offered.
Although this new application gives you more motivation to buy Apple TV 4 for many Apple customers, for Romania it will still be completely useless. Unfortunately, in our country Apple does not distribute movies or TV series, so we cannot benefit from functions of this kind, unfortunately.
