The Galaxy Note 7 will be blocked on the telephone networks in New Zealand

Because the world still does not want to give up bombs Galaxy Note 7, mobile operators in New Zealand will block the terminals in their own network. More precisely, the IMEIs of all Galaxy Note 7 terminals will be added to a blacklist of mobile operators and they will no longer be able to connect to their networks soon.

Samsung is not involved in this plan except possibly by providing the IMEIs, if the operators will not be able to obtain them themselves, and the blocking does not affect the rest of the functions of the Galaxy Note 7. those who insist on using the Galaxy Note 7 terminals for anything other than talking at phone, or surf the internet, they will still be able to do it.

New Zealand is the first country in the world where mobile phone operators block the Galaxy Note 7 from connecting to their own networks. The measure is a drastic one, but suitable for the situation in which the Galaxy Note 7 is at the moment, and for Samsung we are of course talking about a new strong blow because of which the image of the company will be affected.

Considering the move in New Zealand, I believe that other mobile phone operators will do the same and block the terminals to force users to give them up.

In other news, today Samsung recalled almost 3 million washing machines because there is a risk that they may mutilate customers. We are talking, again, about the largest recall of such a type of product.
