Siri in Romanian for iPhone exists in iOS 10.2

Siri in Romanian could be launched soon, iOS 10.2 having the first evidence of the implementation of the support on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.

Siri with Romanian language support is promoted by the Apple company for iPhone and iPad in iOS 10.2, as you can see in the image below. This is the first time that the Apple company displays texts in Romanian for Siri in iOS on the iPhone or iPad, some available for the macOS operating system being discovered in the summer.

We assumed then that we would see Siri in Romanian in the final version of macOS Sierra, but this did not happen, and now Apple recur. In iOS 10.2, Apple provides explanations in Romanian for the functionality offered by Siri on the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, but for now there is no other interface in Romanian.

Accessing this menu is possible when Siri is not activated, and the big change from Apple is based on the fact that now Voice Control has completely disappeared. Yes, you read that right, in iOS 10.2 there is no longer Apple's Voice Control system, and when you long press the Home button of the iPhone you will see the message below promoting Siri.

Siri in Romanian partially available in iOS 10.2 on iPhone and iPad

romanian-siri-ios-10-2-iphoneI know that many of you have been waiting for Siri in Romanian on iPhone and iPad for a very long time, and the Apple company seems to be ready to give it to us. Even if for now we only have a promotional message for the assistant, there are chances that in the not too distant future Siri in Romanian will be officially launched for us.

I wouldn't want to risk it and say that iOS 10.2 will officially bring us Siri in Romanian, because there is a possibility that this message is only informative and nothing more. However, this is the first time that the Apple company offers texts of this kind in Romanian for Siri, and this gives us the understanding that we will be able to use Siri in Romanian in the not too distant future.

"Siri can help you perform actions through simple verbal requests. You can make calls, send messages, send money or even request a ride from your favorite applications. To use Siri, press and hold the home button or say "Hey Siri" at any time."

Until now, Apple has not offered any possible date regarding the launch of Siri support in Romanian and unfortunately the assistant does not even recognize words in Romanian. Of course, this does not mean that Apple does not want to provide support for Siri in Romanian, but we will have to wait until we can enjoy such functionality.
