The game Doom can be played on the Touch Bar of the MacBook Pro

Although the new Touch Bar of the MacBook Pro was thought by the Apple company only as an extension of the applications used in macOS, here it has other benefits. More precisely, someone managed to install the well-known game Doom on the Touch Bar, and in the video clip below you can see how it works on a screen that was not designed for such a thing.

As you already know, the Touch Bar runs on a modified version of watchOS and has a T1 chip that is more than capable of playing this game. Doom was installed by an application developer for the iOS platform and will definitely be able to install other games as well, so it will be interesting to see what we will see next.

The Touch Bar is an OLED screen with a resolution of 2170 x 60 pixels, so not big enough to play Doom properly, but even so, the idea itself is interesting. This demonstration of the Touch Bar functionality could give other developers ideas to create various other games for this component and I think they will come.
