ROMBOT is a form of artificial intelligence developed as part of a campaign run by the well-known Romanian company Rom Autentic. ROMBOT wants to be the first form of artificial intelligence that learns everything it means to be Romanian in order to present the most important information about the Romanian nation to foreigners.
In this sense, ROMBOT takes information from a website created by Rom Autentic, where Romanians can enter and discuss with this form of artificial intelligence. She asks visitors a series of questions to which they must answer, the information being collected in a database, sorted and then transformed into an encyclopedia of information about Romanians.
If you access the website dedicated to ROMBOT, you will be greeted with questions about your daily habits, everything you eat, or the locations you visit on vacation. Of course, apart from these there are also a multitude of other questions that aim to find out as much information as possible about Romanians, this project being unique in Romania.

Those from Rom Autentic believe that this is the biggest social experiment in the world, and ROMBOT can be considered as a child who is "thirsty" for knowledge. ROMBOT will learn information that will help it define the Romanian people, but this with a little guidance from its creators, because all kinds of data will be collected on the website.
"We can also see it as the biggest social experiment in the world. Rombot is like a child. A child that 19 million people are raising. Everyone teaches him what he thinks is important, what he thinks defines us as a nation. As we grow it, so we have it. We will swear, then he will learn to swear. We will talk about beautiful things, then he will know how to make beautiful recommendations. It is like a mirror of our society. And with good and bad. If we keep complaining that we don't have the right image abroad, here's an opportunity to do it ourselves. But there is one condition. We can only do it together."
In the following months ROMBOT will collect information from all Romanians willing to talk to him to share details of their daily lives. After analyzing the data, foreigners will be able to access the ROMBOT website to find out all kinds of information about the way Romanians live, so it will be interesting to see what they will have to say.
