The idea of launching a Galaxy S7 Black Pearl just two months after the launch of the iPhone 7 jet black is seen by many people as an attempt by Samsung to copy Apple. Samsung already offered the Galaxy S7 Edge and Note 7 in a color called Black Onyx, which is similar to the jet black of the iPhone 7, but this Black Pearl should be a faithful copy. Those from Samsung said that the new color "radiates quality and luxury", so a launch with small hands would be perfect to attract the right clientele for it.
In a desperation to increase Galaxy S7 sales after the failure of the Note 7, Samsung is probably willing to do almost anything and copy just about anyone they can. Those from Apple were extremely successful with these new jet black colors for the iPhone 7, so it is easy to understand why Samsung wants to steal as much as possible from those from Cupertino.
