CES 2017: Wair protects you from the pollution around you

CES 2017 brings us an extremely useful gadget for those who live in cities where there is a high level of air pollution, Wair being its name. In essence, we are talking about a scarf that has a series of filters and ventilators that remove toxins and bacteria from the air we breathe, so that we inhale only air as clean as possible.

As you can see from the images below, Wair looks exactly like a scarf, but inside there are all the gadgets that clean the air around us. Moreover, the mask covers the mouth and nose to allow us to breathe only the air cleaned by Wair, so in the end we no longer inhale the polluted air of the city in which we live.

The filters, ventilators and mask can be detached from the Wair scarf so that it can be washed and the filters can be changed, so we don't have to live with them forever. According to the manufacturers, Wair blocks more bacteria and more allergens than a normal surgical mask that many people wear in big cities.

Wair also has an associated application, but this one is only meant to warn us about the danger that the various bacteria in the air have. The application does not provide information about the quality of the air in the mask, or around us, nor about its use in everyday life, so do not expect details of this kind from it.

Wair is presented at CES 2017, but the official launch will take place only in March, with two versions to be available. A version without fans will be sold at the price of 69 euros, while a version with fans will cost between 150 and 200 euros after it will be officially launched.
