CES 2017: Simplehuman launches the trash can that you open with your voice

CES 2017 brings us the first trash can for lazy people, the folks at Simplehuman creating a trash can that can be opened with simple voice commands. Yes, you read that right, this trash can can be opened by a simple voice command spoken to its right, the lid opening automatically to put the trash in it without pulling the lid.

In the video clip below you can see what the trash can looks like created by Simplehuman and presented at CES 2017, which can be controlled by two simple voice commands. Apart from voice commands, this trash can can also be opened by simply waving your hand in front of its motion sensors, so we are talking about a gadget that does not require physical interaction.

This is, most likely, the first trash can that can be opened by voice command or wave of the hand, but here we are only talking about models dedicated to mass consumption. Those who tested it during CES 2017 claim that it works very well, even if there is a lot of noise around it, so we are talking about a really interesting product.

According to those from Simplehuman, the new trash can costs no less than 180 dollars in the simple version, while the double version will cost 250 dollars. As usual, as in all cases of the products presented at CES 2017, the trash can will be launched in March for all those interested in buying it.
