The president of Apple met with Theresa May

The president of Apple, Tim Cook, met today with the Prime Minister of Great Britain, Theresa May, to discuss Brexit and other problems of the company. Tim Cook was present at 10 Downing Street, the Prime Minister's official office, this morning and was seen by journalists entering to attend the meeting.

Today's meeting takes place less than a day after Tim Cook received an honorary degree from the University of Glasgow, where he spoke about Steve Jobs and Donald Trump. In today's meeting, Tim Cook spoke about Apple's investments in the UK and the importance of UK employees knowing how to work in the digital environment.

Theresa May also discussed with Tim Cook about Great Britain's plan to leave the European Union by 2019, and since the country hosts the largest number of Apple Stores in Europe, the problem is big. Apple has already increased the prices of products and applications in Great Britain as a result of the devaluation of the national currency, and the situation could worsen.

Tim Cook has been on a tour of Europe since Sunday, starting with visits to France, continuing with Germany yesterday and managing to reach Great Britain today. Apart from Ireland, Spain and Italy, it is hard to say where else the president of Apple could go, considering that the rest of the countries do not generate that much sales for the Apple company.
