Instagram – upload 10 photos and videos in posts

Instagram launched today a new feature for users around the world, allowing the creation of posts that include up to 10 video clips and photos. Until now, Instagram allowed the publication of a single photo, or a single video clip, in a post, but starting today, things change radically.

By allowing the publication of a maximum of 10 photos or videos, Instagram allows us to share more content in a single post, instead of multiple posts. All the pictures and videos in the post will be presented in a carousel and we will be able to see them all by sliding from right to left to see everything separately.

When we try to publish pictures or videos, we will have the option to select multiple elements for display in a single post. The order of pictures and video clips can be chosen by us, while editing is also possible for any picture or video clip, so they will look exactly as we want.

The new function launched by Instagram is offered as a complement to the Stories function, the big difference being that these complex posts do not disappear in 24 hours. Instagram has announced that the new feature will be available worldwide in the next period, with users gradually having it available in various areas around the globe.

"When uploading to your feed, you'll see a new icon to select multiple photos and videos. It's easy to control exactly how your post will look. You can tap and hold to change the order, apply a filter to everything at once or edit one by one. These posts have a single caption and are square-only for now. On your profile grid, you'll notice the first photo or video of your post has a little icon, which means there's more to see."

Below you can see what a post like this looks like and how you will be able to interact with it.
