Google already releases monthly updates for Android that solve security problems, but manufacturers like Samsung are not in a hurry to make them available to users as often. This will change soon, with Samsung planning to take over what Apple and Google have been doing for years, to provide more security in Android.
Samsung has not provided details on its strategy for releasing these monthly updates to address security issues. Despite this, the first update in the series will be available starting in March for the owners of some of the smartphones that the company sells.
The release of updates for Android is more complicated than it seems, each manufacturer having its own version in terminals, mobile operators also modifying the devices.
