Samsung borrows an Apple strategy for its customers

Samsung has taken the decision to take over a successful Apple company to ensure that its customers are protected against hackers. More precisely, those from Samsung have decided to release monthly security updates for their products, as Apple regularly does for those who own iPhones, iPads, or Macs.

Google already releases monthly updates for Android that solve security problems, but manufacturers like Samsung are not in a hurry to make them available to users as often. This will change soon, with Samsung planning to take over what Apple and Google have been doing for years, to provide more security in Android.

Samsung has not provided details on its strategy for releasing these monthly updates to address security issues. Despite this, the first update in the series will be available starting in March for the owners of some of the smartphones that the company sells.

The release of updates for Android is more complicated than it seems, each manufacturer having its own version in terminals, mobile operators also modifying the devices. In this idea, updating the various versions of the products proves to be a difficult job, but those from Samsung promise to solve the problem in 2017.
