Google Maps is the GPS navigation application launched by Google in the App Store for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, it was updated last night by those from Mountain View.
The update for the Google Maps application available today finally gives us the possibility to see on the lock screen information regarding guided navigation to locations. The Google Maps application has a dedicated widget that we can activate and see in LockScreen to be more easily guided to locations without keeping the application open on the entire screen during use.
Separately, the Google Maps application now allows us to share our static location using an extension that is provided for iMessage. Finally, the Google Maps application contains other solutions to its operating problems, so the user experience should be much better than until now.
