Samsung Galaxy Note 7 – extended process for exploding batteries

Last year, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was the reason why a collective lawsuit was initiated by some of the customers who bought the explosive terminals from the Samsung company. In the summons request, it was mentioned that Samsung knew about the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 problems with exploding batteries, and now these accusations are extended to other terminals in another process.

More precisely, those who initiated the new process extended the accusations against Samsung from the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 to the Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge+, S6 Active, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, S7 Active and Note 5. The accusation is that Samsung he would have known that all these smartphones overheat and there is a danger of explosion, but he avoided informing his customers about the dangers.

In procces are cited and Samsung employees who claim that there are problems with heat dissipation inside Samsung smartphone cases. They state that the standard cooling system in the terminals is not good enough to cool the terminals, so the voltage of the energy transmitted to the battery must be reduced in order to reduce the level of heat generated during charging.

Some of the customers had to change multiple Samsung terminals due to overheating, malfunctions and in some cases, the burning of some internal components. Samsung refused to compensate the customers who suffered damages as a result of the fires generated by the burnt terminals, so now it will most likely be forced to pay any kind of damages.

"Outside of the Note 7 recall, Samsung has taken no steps to recall or warn consumers about the risks of overheating, fire and explosion posed by their Subject Phones. ... due to the spatial limits of smartphones, the cooling system's cooling capacity alone is not enough to cool the device. We need to calculate the amount of electric current and optimize the heat control algorithm to minimize occurring heat. In other words, the new thermal spreader hardware controls the heat more effectively but the software heat-control algorithm must be made compatible to ensure best performance."

Unfortunately for those from Samsung, it seems that smartphone problems with overheating and accessory defects will not stop any time soon.
