This is how Samsung's revolutionary screen works

Samsung announced last week the launch of a new revolutionary screen that can be stretched by the user even after applying it to a smartphone. We are talking about an OLED screen with revolutionary technology created by the Samsung company, and today we have the opportunity to see how this technology works thanks to the video clip below.

In it you can see a 9.1-inch OLED screen that can be stretched very easily, but which is used to "dress" the case Samsung Galaxy S8. Samsung says that its screen is elastic enough to be bent in two directions with a direction of movement of up to 12mm, before returning to its original shape, just like a rubbery material.

Samsung hopes that the technology from screens of this kind could be applied in the future to wearables, but also to products that have artificial intelligence. Of course, there are a multitude of methods in which such a flexible screen can be used, especially since it can return to its original shape after stretching, which we cannot do with other similar screens.

Even if this revolutionary screen has attracted the attention of a very large number of people, those from Samsung have not yet provided details regarding a possible release date. It is hard to say when the first Samsung product that will have such a screen could be launched, so it remains to be seen when this interesting innovation will reach the market.
