iPhone secrets revealed by the man who created iOS

Scott Forstall is the man who led, as vice president of Apple, the division that created iOS for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, and now he has revealed the secrets of the first Apple smartphone. He spoke for more than an hour in the Museum for the History of Computers in Mountain View, California, and details the moments of the conception of the first model of the iPhone by Apple.

His stories are extremely interesting and he explains how the iPhone development project came into existence in a discussion that was based on only 4 people. Steve Jobs was motivated to initiate this project following the numerous teasings made by a Microsoft manager whose wife was a friend of Steve Jobs' widow, and this says a lot about his ambition.

Forstall tells about the important moments in the development of the iPhone, about the moments when the terminal was presented to the partners, but also about the first presentation conference. Extremely many very interesting details are presented by the former senior vice president who left the Apple company after launching an iOS 6 with many problems.

Apart from him, in the video clip below you will also see the testimonies of the engineers Nitin Ganatra, Scott Herz and Hugo Fiennes, who were also part of the team that developed the iPhone. There are so many details revealed by these 4 former Apple employees, that I recommend you reserve 2 hours to watch the entire recording.
