Huawei is heading in Q3 2017 for a major victory over those from Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), on the smartphone market, and this was easy to anticipate more than a week ago. Apple announced its sales of iPhone terminals for T2 2017, with 41 million units sold worldwide, an impressive figure, but which suggests that Huawei will succeed, for the first time, in selling more than the Americans.
Huawei sold 38.5 million smartphones in T2 2017, with only 2.5 million units less than Apple, the difference being the smallest between them. Given that Huawei has substantially increased its smartphone sales from one fiscal quarter to another, it is expected that in Q3 2017 it will even surpass Apple in smartphone sales, for the first time in history.
Huawei has set a goal of surpassing Apple in smartphone sales, and in T3 2017 it should achieve it, according to analysts. It is estimated that Apple will sell up to 50 million iPhone terminals in this fiscal quarter, and no matter how much Huawei succeeds in selling, analysts estimate that total sales would be higher than those that Apple will record.
Huawei will beat Apple on the smartphone market
Huawei grew in sales mainly thanks to China, being the market leader there, while the Apple company barely occupied a place in the top 5, just ahead of Samsung. Those from Huawei have set as their goal to overtake Apple because Samsung is a much too distant target, the sales of the Koreans being almost double those of the Americans, so it will be a long time before you overtake them.

Huawei could surpass Apple in smartphone sales, but it is extremely far from making a profit to the extent of the one collected by the Americans. If Apple collects more than 90% of the entire profit of the smartphone industry, Huawei collects less than 1%, and surpassing Apple in sales will be equal to zero, Samsung knowing this best from all the fight it is having with Apple.
