iPhone 7S – Logic Board Confirms the new Processor

The iPhone 7S has the logic board shown in an image that confirms the new processor that Apple wants to use in its new smartphone.

iPhone 7S it has the logic board presented in a first image that confirms the new processor that Apple intends to implement in this smartphone model. iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus will be launched in September by Apple and will share some components with iPhone 8, these being the most important ones that all fans of the iPhone series have been waiting for in Apple products for years.

iPhone 7S has confirmed by the first image of the logic board that an A11 chip will make its way into the smartphone that Apple will present on September 12. If you look at the bottom left of the image with the logic board of the iPhone 7S you will see a square that has various points on its edges, which match perfectly with what we see in this first image with the new A11 chip of the iPhone 8, so the fit is clear.

The iPhone 7S will have an A11 chip integrated by Apple and we know this since a few months ago, when it was said that this important component will also be used in the iPhone 8. It is not known if the processor and the RAM memory, which will have now 3 GB, will be identical in both A11 chips, and Apple could offer processors with different number of cores, with different working frequencies, but also with different types of RAM memory.

iPhone 7S – the logic board confirms the new processor

The iPhone 7S could have an inferior processor compared to the iPhone 8 because Apple might want to offer more processing power in the more expensive smartphone, especially since it will also have a screen with a higher resolution. The differences could be 10% - 15% in performance between iPhone 7S and iPhone 8, so we are not talking about something colossal, but the differences will exist and must be taken into account by customers.

The iPhone 7S has its logic board present in the image below, because it has an extremely similar shape to the one used in the iPhone 7. The iPhone 8 will have a logic board of a different shape and much smaller size, and the configuration for the processor is different in this logic board compared to the one for the iPhone 7, so it is as clear as possible that we are talking about the logic board for the iPhone 7S and nothing else.

The iPhone 7S will have, as we told you above, 3 GB of RAM this year, so not only the iPhone 7S Plus will benefit from so much RAM memory and not only the iPhone 8. The Apple company will provide the additional processing power for the iPhone 7S , most likely to support the new augmented reality features they are implementing in iOS 11, so it will be interesting to see how powerful it will be.

UPDATED: We also have a video clip in which the motherboard is presented.
