HomePod begins to be tested by Apple employees

HomePod begins to be tested by employees Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, the smart speaker from Cupertino already finding its way into some homes, and a first picture has already appeared on Instagram. We are talking about a picture from a week ago that was published by a person from Shanghai, China, this one having a HomePod speaker from Apple, together with the charger, a sign that it is indeed a real product.

HomePod was announced for release by Apple for December, and since it is already reaching employees, it is clear that the testing process is progressing as it should. It is not known if the person who published the image with the HomePod speaker is an Apple employee, or one of a partner of the American company, but it is clear that he has the speaker.

HomePod was discovered in testing including in Silicon Valley, where a journalist discovered a speaker available for connection via Bluetooth. That speaker was in a kitchen of a possible Apple employee, most likely testing how the HomePod works in such a location and how well it can perceive what is in the room to configure itself.

HomePod will be launched in December by Apple, but for now no clear date has been provided for its sale, so we will have to wait for that.
