iOS 11.1 – Battery Life on iPhone

iOS 11.1 has the battery autonomy for the iPhone presented and compared with that recorded in various other versions of Apple's operating system.

iOS 11.1 has the battery life for iPhone revealed and compared with the one registered on the old models of Apple company phones, but on the old versions of iOS. We can see a comparison between the battery life of iOS 11.1, iOS 11.2 beta 1, iOS 11.0.1, iOS 11.0.2 and iOS 11.0.3 to see how it has evolved on a varied range of Apple phones.

iOS 11.1 showed us during the beta testing period that it can increase the battery life on the iPhone by up to several hours, but it seems that in the final version things are not quite like that. According to the tests, in the case of some iPhone models, the iOS 11.1 battery autonomy decreased in the final version compared to that recorded in the beta versions, the results being different depending on the tested models.

iOS 11.1 can have a lower battery autonomy of up to a few minutes, compared to iOS 11.0.3, for example, on old phones such as the iPhone 5S, the differences on other models being marginal. As you will see in the second video clip below, the Apple company managed to keep the battery autonomy at a fairly stable level throughout the release of the various versions of iOS 11.

iOS 11.1 – Battery Life on iPhone

iOS 11.1 in the beta versions released by Apple offers an autonomy of up to 8-9 hours of use on some iPhone models, but this is not valid in the final version either. Here we are talking about much lower autonomy, but this was to be expected, considering that the final version of iOS 11.1 is not intended to work the same as a beta version, and the differences were expected.

I had iOS 11.1 installed throughout the entire beta testing period, and the autonomy was better than in the case of the final and stable versions of iOS 11.0.X, this being confirmed by the tests. In the final version of iOS 11.1, I did not feel any major differences in battery life compared to what was offered in the beta version, so theoretically you should not see any major differences either.

iOS 11.1 was thought by the Apple company as an update that is offered before the iPhone X is officially launched by those from Cupertino for customers around the world. iOS 11.1 solves many operational problems of the previous versions and slightly improves the performance of Apple's iPhone phones, so in total almost everyone should have a better user experience after installing it in phones or tablets.
