Tim Cook: iPhone X production continues to grow

iPhone X production continues to grow, according to Apple's president, Tim Cook, the new phone being highly sought after, but this is good news.

Tim Cook, the president Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, spoke last night about the financial results for Q3 2017 of the company he leads, but also about the long-awaited iPhone X, which was officially launched today. Tim Cook today reaffirmed the fact that the iPhone X recorded pre-orders much higher than anyone expected, those from Apple saying exactly the same thing a week ago, after the opening of pre-orders.

iPhone X production is currently in the process of progressive growth, everything started almost 2 weeks ago, and Tim Cook claims that the process continues without problems. Apple is trying to make as many iPhone X phones as possible every week to cover the existing demand on the market, Tim Cook stating that he is trying to make happy all the Apple customers who have ordered phones.

"The ramp for iPhone X is going well, especially considering it being the most advanced iPhone created. Really happy we're able to increase week-by-week outputs. Going to get as many of them as possible to customers as soon as possible. I can't predict when that balance will happen."

Tim Cook did not want to provide details about the iPhone X models that were ordered in the largest number by customers, but in this situation there are only differences in colors and storage space. iPhone X is sold in only one version in terms of dimensions, but even so, Tim Cook did not want to say whether the more expensive model, or the cheapest one, records better sales.

Speaking about the price, Tim Cook said that the iPhone X is cheaper than a daily coffee in the locations visited by customers from various countries and if we were to judge by the American prices, he is right. A coffee in the USA can cost up to 10 dollars, depending on the location from which it is bought, and if we add up the annual cost, then the iPhone X is really cheaper than the coffees that American customers buy.

"An iPhone X costs less than one coffee per day at one of those nice coffee places."

Tim Cook's statement is surprising and maybe a little arrogant, but it was expected that Apple does not consider iPhone X to be expensive, despite the fact that everyone else has this opinion. The iPhone X is an expensive phone, we all know that, but Apple will never publicly admit this, nor should we expect them to ever do so.

iPhone X records huge sales despite the price, the stocks being far from reaching the demand, as it happens almost every year when an important iPhone model is launched. Having said that, now you know Apple's opinion on the price of the iPhone X, but also that the production will increase soon to cover the existing demand on the market.
